A Picnic in the Park with Sisters Place Families

The summer rain clouds are passing overhead,
but moving on without even a sprinkle to dampen the fun of:

inventing a spontaneous game involving kicking a ball over a net –

blowing bubbles –

 

painting faces –

 

playing board games–

and bingo

keeping a watchful eye on the toddlers –

 

And then

The surprise of the afternoon is that the good people at Blaine Hill have not just donated all the food. They've also brought along a Moon Walk tent, which they quickly set up and which is soon filled with bouncing children! We are all so grateful for their generosity!

And let us not forget the much anticipated climax of the picnic: the annual awarding of trophies and medals honoring each child's specific accomplishments during the just completed summer camp.
