 
ABOUT US | OUR SERVICES | FOCUS ON CHILDREN | EVENTS | VOLUNTEER And Where Are You Going? No, not Disney World. We're going to Niagara Falls! Our trip was made possible by a $2000 Mini-Grant for Innovative Education awarded to Sisters Place by the Homeless Children's Education Fund. We'd been learning about Niagara Falls in our after school program for several weeks Finally, it is the day of the trip. It's going to be a long "day" – starting with our departure by bus at 4:00 a.m. and ending with our return to Clairton at 2:00 a.m. of the next day. Our alarm clocks are set. They've been checked and rechecked. None of us wants to be left behind because we overslept! The bus arrives and an excited group of children, moms, and staff find their seats. Finally, we are on our way to see for ourselves what we've seen only in pictures: Niagara Fall! Here's but a snapshot of what we did and what we saw.
This overlook is a grand place to see everything at once: city, river, and falls . . .
and we enjoy exploring the many hands-on exhibits at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center.   But we are all eager to move on to the Falls themselves. And here's what we see from the overlooks. WOW! Can you believe it? This is Niagara Falls and WE'RE here to see them!
