Welcome to the party! The over 300 supporters of Sisters Place move from table to table. They savor the wines both familiar and new. They enjoy conversation with friends long-time and newly made. All are here because they are committed to ensuring that Sisters Place is able to assist families toward self-sufficiency by providing housing and supportive services. ![]() ![]() An important feature of the event is the silent auction. Attracting bidders are sports memorabilia donated by athletes from the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins; game tickets; dinner and lodging gift certificates; a framed painting created by one of the Sisters Place children the list goes on. ![]() These potential purchasers consider their bids. A little fine wine certainly helps them come to a decision. ![]() Emcee Bob Bruce, co-anchor for WPXI's Morning News, extends thanks to the wine and food sponsors and the members of the event committee ![]() and there are gifts of appreciation made by Sisters Place children to the event co-chairs: Margaret Keane and Bruce Bales; Julie Coletti and Mary Kirk.
![]() Margaret receives a very special gift from Board Chair Ellen Rufft, given in gratitude for her very many years of service to and support of Sisters Place. ![]() WIth the evening drawing to a close, Sister Mary's face says it all.
