What we did this summer!

We went to the zoo

Because we hadn't yet had our LabRatz Science Camp, we didn't think about the fact that at the zoo "science is all around us" at the zoo. What we did know was that the zoo is always fun.

They say fences and walls make good neighbors, and certainly we're glad for both at the zoo. BUT, when there are a lot of us, a fence makes a crowd and a crowd makes it hard to see what's on the other side.

Birds have feathers and lay eggs. They have wings, but not all birds can fly. Flamingos are wading birds. Peacocks, like chickens, stay on the ground.
